I'm Jerrica—a Missouri native, a mom, a Gigi, and a person whose brain has never once been quiet a day in her life.

I write romantasy. The kind with dragons, fated mates, winged Fae warriors, and love stories that refuse to be easy. I let my imagination run completely wild, and then I try to keep up with it on the keyboard.

When I'm not writing, you'll find me floating down a river, cheering at my kids' sporting events, or reading something that absolutely wrecked me emotionally. My favorite season is summer. My favorite fictional animal is a dragon. Both of those things probably tell you everything you need to know about me.

I live with ADHD and PTSD, and writing has been one of the most powerful outlets I've found for both. There's something about building an entire world from nothing—where you control the chaos, where the characters find their way through the hard things—that has helped me find my way through mine. If you've ever picked up a book because you needed to escape something, you already understand why I write.

Black Wing and Shadows is my debut novel and Book One of the Sandorg Chronicles. Book Two, Of Shadows and Siphons, releases April 14, 2026. I am already working on Book Three, because Auri and Zane apparently have more to say, and I am just here to write it down.

I am also working on something entirely separate from the Sandorg Chronicles—a dark romantasy set in 1995 in the mountains of rural Tennessee and the Louisiana bayou. It is not a dragon book. It is not a military academy. It is a story about a young woman who is hunted, captured, and refuses to break—and the man ordered to guard her who makes a choice that changes everything. It is not a gentle love story. It is the story of two people who had every reason to hate each other, slowly and reluctantly choosing something else.
